Reminder to Conservative Women, You Aren’t Special: Your Whiteness and Republican Voter Registration Will NOT Save You
But You Still Deserve Better
Ah, Republican women. Time and time again, they line up at the ballot box to vote for men who see them as nothing more than obedient wives, walking wombs, or background decorations at campaign rallies. They cheer on policies that strip women of their rights, comforted by the illusion that their whiteness, their conservative values, or their “not like those feminists” stance will somehow shield them from the consequences.
But here’s the thing: they were always coming for you too.

There’s a certain kind of woman—let’s call her the Pick-Me Patriot—who thinks that by rejecting feminism and embracing traditional gender roles, she’ll be granted special protection. That somehow, if she’s demure enough, devoted enough, and just the right amount of subservient, she won’t be affected when rights start vanishing.
But misogyny doesn’t come with an opt-out clause.
That abortion ban? It doesn’t care if you voted Republican—it will still force you to carry a dangerous pregnancy. The rollback of workplace protections? It doesn’t care that you only wanted to punish those “radical feminists” with blue hair—it will still make it harder for you to fight discrimination or harassment. And when the laws erode your ability to leave an abusive marriage? Guess what? That was always part of the plan.
The conservative men in power don’t see you as a partner in the movement. They see you as expendable.
Now, do I think voting against your own self-interest is deeply foolish? Oh, absolutely. But here’s the difference between me and the people you vote for: I don’t believe you deserve to suffer for it.
Because unlike the men in your party—the ones who see you as a political tool rather than a person—I believe every woman deserves bodily autonomy, safety, and the freedom to make her own choices. Even if she spent her whole life mocking feminism. Even if she told herself she was different. Even if she didn’t think she’d ever need those rights.
The feminists you sneer at? The ones you call “man-hating, baby-killing radicals”? They’ve been fighting for your rights too. Because we don’t just fight for the women who agree with us. We fight for all women, including the ones who don’t think they need us—until they do.
Final Thoughts: We Told You So, But We’re Still Here
So yes, I will absolutely shake my head and roll my eyes when Republican women act shocked that their rights are being taken away. But I will also fight like hell to make sure they don’t lose them. Because no woman—no woman—deserves to be stripped of her autonomy.
Not even the ones who voted for it.
But when the laws strip away your choices, your rights, and your dignity, don’t look around confused.
Because babe, you helped build this dystopia.
We are in desperate need in healing and coming together. But autonomy of our bodies is a line I refuse to cross. I will never understand why they can support men making decisions for us.
They live under an illusion, no wonder truth isn’t important to them. I find these women become more angry and mean because their purpose is greatly diminished. They end up taking it out on the rest of us.
