A friend of mine found herself in that position. What worked was the insistence that everybody cough up the cost of a weekly housekeeping service. Without that, she was prepared to move out as she was not their default housekeeper.
There's no point in training men when they don't want to be trained. There's no point in assuming that there's any real good will in their total willingness to leave all the labor to you. If they refuse to cough up cheerfully and promptly, and do make sure the service is in one of their names, then you both should leave.
All I can suggest is the strategize with your female roommate on where you can completely ignore the disaster they're leaving behind versus where you think you can successfully fight to get them to step up. Because their bottom line is as long as you hate it more than they do, they win. And to quote Zawn Villines, they are totally fine with stealing your time and labor to improve their own.
