In the early 2000s, I told my Psychology of Women students that the fight over abortion was just the shot across the bow, that they'd be coming for much more, including birth control. My students told me they'd never come for birth control, that it was too well-established. Uh huh. Sometimes it really hurts to be right.

Nope we weren’t being hysterical then and we are not being hysterical now.

“Hysterical” is the word people use when they want to dismiss what the (usually) women are saying. And it is all about power, control and authority.

I am Christian but I believe God created us all equal, and God doesn’t make mistakes. Jesus was a supporter of women but that Jesus has no place in WCN. I pray for all my sisters in the US, that you can all flourish and have a country that is pro-life in a meaningful way - policies that support families, protect them and allow them to live their lives well 🙏
